The Power of Giving Thanks!

To honor the approach of Thanksgiving Day, I thought a few words about saying "thank you" would be appropriate.  Especially considering that "thank you" are the two most powerful words in any language!  Feeling gratitude and appreciation are what prompts us to say them in the first place.  And an attitude of gratitude is the key to manifesting what you desire!  So if you are feeling mixed emotions about the pending holiday season, please make a list of people, places and things in your life that you are truly grateful for.  You will feel an immediate energy shift when you do this.  "Feeling" appreciation is the key to this exercise.  So don't just list things without emotion like a "to do" list.  Note only that which makes you feel truly thankful!!  And only then will you experience the power of manifesting more of what you are grateful for!  Happy Thanksgiving and thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Summer Blossoms

As we are nearing the end of July, I can't help but notice how beautiful all the flowers are!!  Summer is the season for everything to blossom and grow.  Love relationships seem more romantic under the summer moon.  People tend to be outdoors more having fun and enjoying the longer sunlight hours.  So take a moment or two in the next few weeks, to think about your own soul growth.  Contemplate your next chapter so to speak.  For this is the most relaxed season of the year.  The kids are out of school which means the parents catch a break with homework and after school activities.  Vacations are prominent in summer months.  And I don't know if you know this, but it is upon coming back from vacation that most people decide to change jobs, leave their current relationship, seek a new living space, and just make changes period!  These changes are prompted by relaxation and the luxury of having the time to think about things!  So take advantage of the moment because there are only a few fleeting weeks left of this beautiful season :)!

Spring is Upon Us

With the clocks going forward and longer days, comes the warmer weather and spring blooms!  It is during this time that we benefit most from cleaning out that which is no longer needed!  This is the time of year to lighten up and spring forward.  So begin by cleaning your house and removing all unwanted dust and belongings.  As you clean-out that which no longer serves you, there will be a ripple effect which will prompt you to take a look at your relationships.  Now is the time to re-evaluate and weed out the toxic energies surrounding you.  A great question to ask yourself is:  How does this person make me feel??  Enlightenment will unfold from there!

New Year's Eve 2015

It's New Year's Eve already!!! Time to appreciate all of the challenges you have met and endured throughout 2014. Focus on what you've accomplished and be thankful for how far you've come! Do not waste time sending energy to what you didn't do or don't have! An "attitude of gratitude" is the best way to truly have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Sending out a shower of Love, Light and Gratitude and wishing all of you a very Healthy Happy New Year!

Christmas Eve

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve!  The aura of which is unlike any other day in the year.  Try to make time to sit still and breathe that wondrous energy into your soul and make it a part of you!  For on that day, a very high spiritual frequency is running through the Universe like a giant electrical grid.  People are much kinder and more patient with each other.  We are all filled with the Spirit of Giving and it's a very potent energy!  Drink it in and imagine it as a magical elixir that can generate healing throughout the earth plane!  Because in reality, it truly does just that!  Wish we would all remain on that frequency throughout the year.  The world would be a much kinder, gentler place to live :)!

Holiday Energy!

With Thanksgiving a few days away, we are all caught up in the hectic energy of our "have to"  lists!  It's where we have to travel to and/or the shopping and preparing of the feast.  The airports, highways and supermarkets are crowded beyond belief and people become impatient and unkind!  And then without a minute's breather, it's on to Christmas shopping!  And we all know how crazy that energy can be; especially when there is a big sale!!  So if there is anything that I feel worth doing, it's trying to stay in the moment of what's happening!  When you put yourself in real time and just be with whatever is happening, you feel more centered and in control.   You will also notice that just being in the moment reduces anxiety and stress.  Anxiety can only happen when we think about the future in any capacity.  Whether it be where we have to be in the next ten minutes or what we have to do tomorrow.  There is no anxiety in the present moment when you are truly present!   That is why the future is a mystery, the past is history, and the "present" is a "gift"!!  Remember, laughter is the best medicine!!!  So surround yourself with people that have a good sense of humor.  And in the spirit of laughter and fun, I wish all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving!!

Managing Stress

Summer brings a relaxed, care-free energy with it.  Which is why we all enjoy the season so much!!  September is a month of getting back to a more serious and time-structured schedule.  The kids go back to school.  Work projects become the central focus again.  And life in general, seems a bit more hectic.  There's those back to school night meetings and the sports schedules for the kids, etc...  So it's important that you take the time to do a five minute meditation during the course of your day.  Choose the time of day that is most conducive to being able to focus for a full five minutes.  Then just close your eyes.  Breathe deeply and slowly for the first minute or two.  And then visualize "PEACE" coming into your body.  FEEL the energy of PEACE & CALM permeate the energy around and within you.  Just stay with the words and feelings of PEACE & CALM for the next few minutes.  You will definitely feel a decrease in  your stress level!  Practice is the key here.  So make some time to do this each day and you will WANT to do it when you experience the outcome :)!

Time Frames

Try to set time frames for your daily "things to do".  I find that I am in a much better state of mind during my day if I schedule it with time segments.  Such as, twenty-five minutes for meditation, forty-five minutes for emails and business calls, thirty minutes for some type of physical workout, etc.  This morning I scheduled time to sit and write this!   If you have set times that are planned out ahead, you will be more apt to keep to your schedule and accomplish all that you wish to do in a day.  And of course we all have days where things happen and we get stuck doing something that wasn't in the game plan.  Like a computer issue and sitting on the phone with Apple for an hour!!  Or a sick child or pet that needs immediate medical attention.  But on the whole, if you frame your day out ahead of time, you will find that you can get a lot more accomplished!  And at the end of the day, when we tend to judge ourselves for what we did or didn't do, you will have nice things to say to yourself :)!

Remember to BREATHE DEEPLY!!

When we are stressed, we take shallow breaths.  And let's face it, we all get stressed at some point during the course of our day.  Some of us for longer periods than others.   So train your brain to take long, deep, slow breaths through your nose and exhale slowly thru your nose, while keeping your mouth closed, for as long as possible.  Doing this for 3 breaths every two hours will improve your brain function and make you feel calmer :)!
